In my hostel:

I was allotted a room in the hostel with two of my wonderful friends. I took the window side in the corner of the room. Sometimes, I use to boast myself to have a best place in this room, till I was encountered with a horrible incident.

It was a Saturday. It is usual to watch movies, sleeping and reading novels. But I didn’t have interest in any of these things that day. Even my eye lids restricted to obey my commands. At last, I forced myself to engage in reading a book with short stories. I started, “Death Car”. It was a thriller and was really interesting. I didn’t recognise that I reached the end so swiftly. The end was unpredictable and left me with fear.

After that, I tried to move my thoughts away from it and to my rescue my friend called me to get my mobile charger. It was dark and moreover it was raining. So I told her to get it by the next day morning. But she was stubborn and called me again to get it. Later, I somehow managed to console her.

It was around 10 at night and my friend called me from the hostel main gate. I looked around my roommates and told them about the incident, “she had come for her charger”. Since, I had a fear of going alone, I asked one of my roommate to accompany me.

To describe her courage, it’s enough to give you an incident. She slept in the horror movie “Mirrors”. Not only that but the list of horror movies where she slept, rises if you start counting. So she is the right person for me. I reached the main gate and to my surprise there was no one. I called her asking, where did she leave, she told me that she hadn’t come there.

Imagine this. And think, how would it affected a courageous person like me? my legs started and reached my room within seconds. That night I shared my friend’s bed. Good friend.  Next day morning, when I woke up, I found her lying on the floor. Poor girl she had not expected that, from that day her bed would become as my bed.
