Me @ Fishbowl:

"The best thing about being in Fishbowl is that you as a member, are free to write about pretty much anything and yet hope to find an audience and receive feedback. Nothing is too crazy or unbelievable to be considered worth saying or writing. And it is this freedom that every author craves for. So far, I have written two stories, one more in collaboration and one poem."

Hobbies, Interests and Ambitions:

"My hobbies are writing (No surprise there, now), singing and analyzing random situations. Writing is special to me because I can express myself the best with it. The hopes that we have, the lines of thought that we have about the myriad of things in this universe, the craziest of things we wish we could do, the kinds of friends that we wish we could have, the emotions that we have and more are best brought out in the form of stories and poems. Writing a story or a poem feels like raising a child. It feels like a part of one's identity. As you write, you have certain things you want to give the story or poem and expect it to portray. You expect it to reflect something of yourself. No matter how many stories and poems that exist, you feel proud of yours and love yours the most, even with the little things that you feel are its flaws. I am interested in the way different incidents, things and people affect each other, especially in terms of ecology. Life puts us in several situations, sometimes ones we love to be in and other times ones that are simply too mortifying or painful to seem true. Different people react to them in different ways. Actions are sensible, correct, easy or pleasant only in terms of relativity and context. Several problems we face are merely due to misunderstanding and inability to trust in others and ourselves. We all wish it was possible to be understood by and understand all those we at least care about. But our relationships with them are exactly what help us with this. Perhaps, one goal of life is merely to keep each other as happy as we can and hurt each other as little as we can. One ambition I have is to be the nicest person I can be. Nobody is perfect. But we can all try to be the best we can be. We may never there, but we can at least be happy that we tried. Perhaps, by shooting for the moon, we could at least hope to land among the stars. Idealism apart, I aspire to research and find a solution to the deterioration of Planet Earth. It is an irony that we are so preoccupied with our whims and fancies that we are destroying not only our own way of survival, but also that of all the other creatures that share this wonderful home with us. We, I feel, have become too self-obsessed and greedy for anyone's good. This planet is ours, but not ours alone. I only wish people understood that."
