The brainchild of some. The journey of many.

The Fishbowl Network was established in the year 2013. It was conceived as a means of providing people with an outlet to unleash their creativity and indulge their passion for writing and designing. The vision of the Network was clearly laid out at the very inception.
-To serve as a platform to launch talented writers and designers.
-To contribute our bit to the society through various 'Corporate Social Responsibility' (CSR) initiatives.
For the above mentioned reasons, The Fishbowl Network is a non-profit organisation and we drive all our monetary benefits towards various social responsibility initiatives. We firmly believe in the fact that excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We also swear by perfection, teamwork and individual commitment to the group effort. The ideals of an organisation are what define it and we as a team, stand committed to these values.
Here's a peek into all that happens in Fishbowl.

1. FURORE magazine
Furore is a bi-monthly (once in two months) magazine that seeks to bring out the best of works from our team. Furore is eight issues, numerous articles and many beautifully designed pages old. With themes ranging from 'Art of Start' to 'Serendipity', the magazine has covered many off-beat themes during its run so far. Needless to say, we strive for the best of designs and content every issue. Our goal is to be the very best E-magazine there is and we would like to think we are getting there.

2. The Fishbowl Blog
This is our space to voice out all those thoughts, epiphanies, rantings and what not. No niche? You might ask. Yet this is the feature that gives us the ability to host articles on a plethora of topics ranging from science and technology to arts and society, which can be found for your reading pleasure here.

3. Fanstory Contests
This is how we get those creative juices flowing. All members of the content team of The Fishbowl Network are given ample opportunities to write to their heart's content' for contests and receive reviews for their works through the FanStory website. The work is impeccably co-ordinated by the FanStory team, which ensures that members are duly notified about contests. They also ensure timely submission of articles and relay reviews back to the writers. This is a year-round activity that goes on in Fishbowl, with monthly rotation of writers.

4. The Fishbowl Newsletter
The Fishbowl Newsletter serves as a medium to keep the members updated on happenings in the Network. The weekly issue of the Newsletter relays updates and progress on various works and is a means to keep the group connected. With recent issues featuring interviews of team members, this is your weekly dose of Fishbowl trivia, neatly landing in your inbox!

5. Review Network
The Fishbowl Review Network is an initiative undertaken to engage with our readers. Reviews and feedback are important for any writer. They are even more so of consequence for a team like us, comprised of amateur budding writers. The Review Network helps us gauge readers' response to our magazine and helps us get better at what we do. There is a dedicated team for the Review Network, which makes sure that our writers and designers receive quality reviews for their works. In addition, we have an in-house review team, which provides reviews for all articles written by the content team.

6. Internships
The Fishbowl Network opens internships twice a year. Internships are open for content, marketing, design and web development profiles. The internship will be for a period of three months and certificates will be provided at the successful completion of the internship. A select few interns will be offered a permanent position at The Fishbowl Network. Intern members are exposed to a wide variety of tasks, which stretch their creative capabilities to the maximum. You can be rest assured you'll get a lot out of the internship, provided you're ready to make the most of it.

7. Online International Writing Contests
The Fishbowl Network organises a yearly online international writing competition. The theme for this year's contest was 'Tom, Dick and Harry'. Participants were required to submit an original story with three main characters. With cash prizes worth $500 to be won and an outstanding panel of judges and reviewers in place, we received a good response during the very first year of the contest. We hope to increase the reach of the competition during the forthcoming years.

8. Expansion Plans
Yes, it's official. We're expanding! With our bases firmly in place, we have set about providing a lot more novice writers and designers from various educational institutions with the space they require to turn out their creative best. Currently, we're looking to set up Fishbowl franchises in various colleges. This franchise will be an entirely student-run organisation and the Brand Ambassador of Fishbowl in each college will serve as the link between the Fishbowl team and the franchise. If you're interested in setting up a franchise in your college, please contact us.

9. Advertisement Agency
Staying true to our commitment to social responsibility initiatives, an advertisement agency has been set up under The Fishbowl Network, which will be managed by a separate Media team. The goal of this team is to produce advertisements for various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) through the 'Corporate Social Responsibility' (CSR) programmes of various companies in the corporate sector. For any queries related to the ad agency, please contact us.

With all this and many more projects in the works, The Fishbowl Network is the most happening place to be!
